"We wanted to experience as much as we could in the time we had, so we jam packed our schedule, travelling to Lima, Puno (Lake Titicaca), Cusco, Ollataytambo, and of course Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).

The trip was filled with amazing moments I'll never forget. From my first Pisco sour in Lima to staying with a family on their handmade floating island on Lake Titicaca, exploring the streets of Cusco, mountain biking from Moray to the Salt Flats, dinner at a tiny restaurant in Ollantaytambo, climbing Machu Picchu and climbing the mountain behind it (in the rain!). 

When I think back to my time in Peru, I always go back to the Andes and the impression they left on me. I was so awed by them and how different they were in each area we were in. With the changes in elevation in the different regions, sometimes you feel like you can reach out and touch them and other times they're towering over you, and sometimes they feel so familiar while other times you feel like you're on another planet.

We had the most incredible time in Peru, the country is truly magical."
