"Slept at the base town of the mountain (Aguas Calientes) on Thursday night and left for the summit at 5am Friday morning to get up to Machu Picchu for Sunrise! :) Beautiful foggy hike and then when the sun came through it was breathtaking! Hiked to the top at the "Sun Gate" with the Leafs jersey ;) and then trekked back down to the main site as well. Also saw the "Inca Bridge" a small trail that scales alongside the back of the mountain.  Was back at Aguas Calientes in the hot springs with a cold beer in hand by 2pm!
